LESCO's online bill portal at lesco.com.pk lets any consumer check their current bill amount, due date, and payment history using their 14-digit reference number — no account or login is required.

4 Steps to Check and Download Your LESCO Bill

Find your 14-digit reference number (top-right of your paper bill), open lesco.com.pk, enter it, and your bill loads instantly with the amount due and due date.

Step 1

Locate Your 14-Digit LESCO Reference Number

Grab your most recent LESCO paper bill. Look at the upper-right section — you're looking for a row labeled "Reference No." The number is 14 digits long, typically starting with your circle code (23 for many Lahore areas). Write it down or take a photo of that section before opening the portal.

Don't confuse the reference number with the meter number — the meter number is shorter and sits near the units-consumed section lower on the bill. If you enter the meter number on the LESCO portal, it will return a "No Record Found" error. Specifically: you want the long 14-digit number, not the 7-to-9 digit one.

New to a rented property and have no bill? Ask your landlord — they're legally required to provide the LESCO reference for the property. As a last resort, call LESCO at 118 with your full address and they can look it up for you over the phone.

Step 2

Open the Official LESCO Bill Portal

Open your browser and go to lesco.com.pk. From the homepage, look for "Bill Inquiry" or "Online Bill" in the menu. The direct link to the bill check page is at lesco.com.pk/Modules/CustomerBill/GuestChecking.asp — bookmark this for future visits.

LESCO's portal works on both desktop and mobile. Chrome loads it cleanly on Android; Safari works fine on iPhone. If the page loads but looks broken, try clearing your browser cache (hold down the refresh icon on mobile for a "Hard Reload" option).

If the portal is completely unreachable — it goes down occasionally during maintenance, usually late at night — the JazzCash app's "Pay Bills → Electricity → LESCO" section pulls from the same database and works as a reliable backup for checking the amount due.

Step 3

Enter the Reference Number and Read Your Bill

On the LESCO bill inquiry page, you'll see a single text field. Type your 14-digit reference number carefully — one wrong digit returns nothing. Click Submit. Your current bill loads within 2–3 seconds.

The displayed bill shows: billing month, meter reading date, previous and current meter readings, units consumed, tariff category (residential, commercial, agricultural), and the itemised charges including the base tariff, FPA, TV fee, Neelum Jhelum surcharge, and GST. The Amount Payable at the bottom is what you owe.

Check the due date carefully — LESCO's grace period for late payment is typically 15 days after the bill date, after which a 2% per month surcharge applies to any unpaid balance. The due date is printed clearly on both the paper bill and the online version.

Step 4

Download Your Bill as PDF

Click the Print button on the LESCO portal bill page. On desktop, your browser's print dialog will open — select "Save as PDF" from the destination dropdown instead of a physical printer. On mobile Chrome, tap the three-dot menu after clicking Print, then choose "Save as PDF."

Save it with a clear filename like LESCO_June2026_Ref23050001234567.pdf so you can find it later if needed for a complaint or payment dispute. The PDF is the official record — LESCO accepts it as proof of your bill if you need to show it at a bank or payment counter.

Ready to pay? The fastest options are the JazzCash bill payment guide and the bank app payment guide — both use your same 14-digit reference number and post payments on the same day.

When Things Go Wrong

Portal shows 'No Record Found' for a seemingly correct number

The most common cause is entering the meter number instead of the reference number. The reference number is 14 digits; the meter number is shorter. Find the row specifically labeled 'Reference No.' on your bill.

LESCO portal timing out repeatedly

The official portal can be slow during peak evening hours (6–10 PM). Try again later, or use the JazzCash bill check as an immediate alternative — open JazzCash → Bill Payments → Electricity → LESCO and enter your reference number there.

Bill amount seems far higher than normal months

First check whether the units consumed figure is realistic. If it's 3× your usual usage, the meter may have been read incorrectly or a previous estimated reading is being corrected. Call LESCO helpline at 118 before the due date to dispute it.

LESCO bill shows 'Arrears' from a month I already paid

Payment postings can take 2–3 days from JazzCash or bank apps and up to 7 days from counter payments. If the payment date is recent, wait for the next billing cycle to confirm posting. If it's older than 10 days, call 118 with your payment receipt reference.

Frequently Asked Questions

It's in the upper-right section of the bill, on a row clearly labeled 'Reference No.' — it's a 14-digit number. Don't confuse it with the shorter meter number which appears further down near the units reading section.

Not through the official LESCO portal — it only accepts reference numbers. Call LESCO at 118 with your full address and they can provide the reference number. Once you've it, save it somewhere permanent.

LESCO doesn't have an official standalone app as of 2026. Use the web portal at lesco.com.pk, or the JazzCash, Easypaisa, and bank apps which all support LESCO bill checking and payment.

FPA stands for Fuel Price Adjustment — it's a monthly variable charge determined by NEPRA based on the national energy mix cost for that billing period. It goes up when fuel prices rise and down when they fall. Our FPA guide explains the calculation in full.

LESCO issues a disconnection notice if the bill remains unpaid after the due date. Disconnection typically happens 7–10 days after the notice, not immediately. Pay via JazzCash or bank app for same-day posting and call 118 with the receipt to prevent disconnection.
