StormFibre is a fiber internet provider operating in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad offering Triple Play packages (internet, TV, and phone) — its five plans range from the 10 Mbps Typhoon 2.0 at Rs. 1,999/month to the 1 Gbps Hurricane 2.0 at Rs. 9,999/month.

4 Steps to Get StormFibre Connected

Check coverage at your address, compare all 5 Triple Play packages in the table, place your order, and run a speed test on installation day to confirm performance.

Step 1

Confirm StormFibre Coverage in Your Area

StormFibre operates a fiber-to-the-home network currently serving Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Before anything else, visit stormfibre.com.pk and use the address search on the homepage. Enter your street or area name to see whether your location is on their active network or in a planned expansion zone.

If your area isn't covered yet, you can register your interest on the same page. StormFibre prioritises expansion into areas with high demand registrations, so it's worth adding your address to their waitlist — they typically reach out within 4–8 weeks if your area is next in the rollout.

Keep in mind that even within served cities, coverage is street-by-street. A neighbor a block away may have StormFibre while your street doesn't yet. The coverage checker is the definitive source — calling their helpline at 021-111-786-786 can also confirm your specific address.

Step 2

Compare StormFibre's Five Triple Play Packages

All StormFibre residential packages are Triple Play — they include internet, TV, and a phone line as a bundle. You can't subscribe to internet-only; the TV and phone components are always included in the price. Whether you use all three services or not, the pricing is the same.

Here are the five current packages with their exact specifications:

PackageDownloadUpload Install FeeMonthly FeeOptional Wi-Fi AP
Triple Hurricane Promo 2.01,000 Mbps115 MbpsRs. 11,499Rs. 9,999Rs. 4,700
Triple Tornado Promo50 Mbps70 MbpsRs. 11,499Rs. 5,999Rs. 4,700
Triple Thunder Promo 2.0 Popular30 Mbps50 MbpsRs. 7,999Rs. 3,999Rs. 4,700
Triple Blizzard Promo20 Mbps40 MbpsRs. 6,999Rs. 2,999Rs. 4,700
Triple Typhoon Promo 2.010 Mbps25 MbpsRs. 9,999Rs. 1,999Rs. 4,700

All prices are exclusive of tax. Validity is one month. The optional Wi-Fi Access Point (Rs. 4,700) is an add-on and not required if you use your own compatible router.

A few things worth noting about the pricing structure: Hurricane 2.0 has a higher installation fee (Rs. 11,499) despite being the top tier — the same as Tornado. Typhoon 2.0 also has an installation fee of Rs. 9,999, which is higher than both Thunder and Blizzard. This is a deliberate pricing structure by StormFibre, not a typo. If you're choosing between Typhoon and Blizzard, Blizzard has the lower installation fee at Rs. 6,999.

Step 3

Order Online or Call StormFibre

Go to stormfibre.com.pk, select your package, and click "Order Now." Fill in your personal details, complete address, and preferred installation time slot. StormFibre's sales team will call you within 4–8 business hours to confirm the order details and installation appointment.

You can also call 021-111-786-786 to order by phone. Keep your CNIC number handy — it's required for account registration. The installation fee is collected on the day of the installation visit, either by card, JazzCash, bank transfer, or cash (depending on which the technician accepts).

If you want the optional Wi-Fi Access Point (Rs. 4,700), mention it when placing the order so it can be brought on the installation day. Ordering it later requires a separate technician visit.

Step 4

Installation Day — What to Expect

StormFibre technicians typically arrive within 3–5 business days of order confirmation. The installation involves laying fiber cable from the nearest distribution point (usually on a utility pole outside) into your home, then connecting it to an ONT (fiber modem) inside. The whole process takes 2–4 hours for a standard house; apartments may take longer depending on building access.

Once connected, run a speed test immediately at fast.com while connected via ethernet cable to the ONT — not over Wi-Fi. Your speed should be at or very close to your subscribed package tier. For Typhoon 2.0 (10 Mbps), expect 9–11 Mbps download. For Hurricane 2.0 (1,000 Mbps), you should see 800–1,000 Mbps over a wired connection.

If you opted for the Wi-Fi AP add-on, the technician configures it on-site. The default Wi-Fi name and password are on a label on the device — change the password through the router's admin panel before the technician leaves.

What to Do if Activation Doesn't Work

StormFibre speeds lower than subscribed package

Always test via ethernet cable first — Wi-Fi inherently has overhead. If wired speed is low, check that the ONT has a solid green light on the PON indicator. A blinking or red PON light means a fiber signal issue — contact StormFibre support at 021-111-786-786.

StormFibre internet dropping multiple times per day

Frequent drops on fiber usually indicate a physical layer issue — a bend or nick in the fiber cable, or a loose connector at the ONT. Check that all fiber connectors are firmly seated. Log the drop times and contact support with that information for a faster diagnosis.

StormFibre TV channels not working but internet is fine

The TV service on Triple Play uses IPTV — it streams through the same connection as your internet. Restart the IPTV set-top box by unplugging it for 30 seconds. If channels still don't load, contact StormFibre support, as IPTV issues are sometimes server-side.

Installation appointment missed or rescheduled without notice

Contact StormFibre's sales team directly on 021-111-786-786. Installation delays are common during high-demand periods. Confirm a new appointment time and ask for an SMS reminder — StormFibre should send one automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Triple Hurricane Promo 2.0 offers 1,000 Mbps download and 115 Mbps upload. To achieve full gigabit speeds, you need: (a) a device with a Gigabit ethernet port, (b) a Cat5e or better ethernet cable, and (c) a router capable of Gigabit throughput if you're using Wi-Fi. Most mid-range devices can sustain 400–900 Mbps of that through Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6.

StormFibre uses asymmetric GPON fiber, which is standard for residential ISPs worldwide. Download-heavy use cases (streaming, browsing, gaming) need more download bandwidth than upload. The only exception is Typhoon 2.0, which has higher upload (25 Mbps) than download (10 Mbps) — designed for users who upload frequently.

All StormFibre residential packages are unlimited — there's no monthly data cap or fair use throttling policy on standard residential plans. You can stream, download, and upload as much as you need without speed reduction.

StormFibre installs an ONT which is their proprietary equipment — you can't replace it. However, you can connect your own router to the ONT's LAN port to use your preferred Wi-Fi hardware. The optional Wi-Fi AP add-on (Rs. 4,700) is only needed if you want their recommended device.

StormFibre bills monthly. You can pay through their customer portal at stormfibre.com.pk, JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer, or by calling 021-111-786-786. Set up auto-debit from your bank to avoid service interruption if you forget the payment date.
