FESCO's online bill portal lets consumers across Faisalabad division — Faisalabad city, Jhang, Chiniot, Sargodha, Khushab, and Mianwali — check their current bill by entering the reference number from their paper bill.
Find Your FESCO Reference Number on Your Bill
FESCO reference numbers are 14 digits and generally begin with 55 for Faisalabad city consumers, with other prefixes for surrounding districts like 56 for Sargodha and 57 for Mianwali. The label on your paper bill will say "Reference No." or "Ref #" — it's printed prominently near the top of the bill page.
FESCO bills can look slightly different depending on whether you've a standard single-phase meter or a 3-phase industrial meter. For standard residential consumers, the reference number is always in the same top-section position. Industrial consumers may have a different number format — this guide covers residential/commercial single-phase billing.
If you're a new tenant and the landlord hasn't provided the bill, check the meter box itself — some FESCO meters have the reference number on a sticker on the side of the enclosure. Otherwise, call FESCO at 041-111-000-118 with your street address.
Navigate to the FESCO Bill Inquiry Page
Open your browser and go to fesco.com.pk. From the homepage, look for "Bill Inquiry" or "Online Services" in the navigation. FESCO's website has a dedicated bill inquiry page that loads independently of the main site — useful when the homepage is slow but the inquiry system is still responsive.
FESCO's portal has been increasingly reliable since its 2023 upgrade. It works well on both desktop and mobile Chrome/Firefox. If you see a security certificate warning, click "Advanced" and proceed — this can happen with older browser versions and isn't a genuine security risk on the official FESCO domain.
Enter Your Details and Read the Bill
Enter your 14-digit FESCO reference number in the field provided and click the inquiry button. Your current bill loads showing consumer name, address, billing month, meter readings, units consumed, and the full charge breakdown.
A particularly useful feature on the FESCO portal: after viewing the current bill, look for a Payment History link below the bill details. It shows whether your most recent payment has been posted — helpful if you paid recently and want to confirm it went through before the due date closes.
FESCO serves Faisalabad — one of Pakistan's most industrially intensive cities — so its grid can experience demand fluctuations. If your bill shows an unusually high units consumed figure during summer months, it's worth cross-referencing with your electricity bill calculator to see whether the figure aligns with your actual appliance usage.
Download Your FESCO Bill and Arrange Payment
Use the Print button to save your bill as a PDF (select "Save as PDF" in the print dialog). Keep a copy labeled with the reference number and month — you'll need it if a payment dispute arises later.
FESCO bill payment works through JazzCash, Easypaisa, all major bank apps, and 1Link ATMs. Faisalabad residents will find numerous JazzCash and Easypaisa agents in every neighbourhood. Both apps let you search "FESCO" under Bill Payments → Electricity and pay directly with your reference number.
When Things Go Wrong
Verify the prefix — FESCO district codes start with 55 (Faisalabad), 56 (Sargodha area), or 57 (Mianwali, Bhakkar). If your number has a different first two digits, you may have a GEPCO or LESCO bill, not FESCO.
FESCO bills are generated in cycles — your area's billing date may not have come around yet this month. The previous month's bill shows until the new one is generated. Check again in a few days if you're early in the billing cycle.
JazzCash and bank app payments post within 24 hours. If it's been more than 48 hours, call 041-111-000-118 with your payment reference. Counter payments at bank branches can take 48–72 hours to post.
Look for an 'EN' or 'English' button in the upper corner of the page. Alternatively, use JazzCash or Easypaisa — their FESCO bill sections are fully in English regardless of the FESCO portal language.
