NADRA operates two types of service points — Facilitation Centres (full-service, handles all applications) and Sahulat Centres (basic services only) — with appointment booking available online at id.nadra.gov.pk for most Facilitation Centres.

4 Steps to Find and Visit a NADRA Office

Use nadra.gov.pk to find your nearest centre, book an appointment at appointment.nadra.gov.pk to avoid queues, arrive 10 minutes early with your documents.

Step 1

Use NADRA's Online Office Locator

Go to nadra.gov.pk and click "Find a Registration Centre." Enter your city or district and the tool lists all NADRA offices in your area — Facilitation Centres (full service), Sahulat Centres (faster for simple tasks), and Mobile Registration Vans (for remote areas). Each listing shows the address, operating hours, and contact number.

NADRA Facilitation Centres handle all services including new CNIC, renewals, family registration, NICOP, and B-Forms. Sahulat Centres handle renewals and simpler tasks — they typically have shorter queues. Mobile Vans are scheduled for villages without a fixed centre.

Step 2

Book an Appointment to Avoid Queuing

NADRA offers online appointment booking at appointment.nadra.gov.pk. Select your nearest office, service type (CNIC renewal, new application, etc.), and preferred date and time slot. Confirmed appointments let you skip the general token queue and go directly to the appointment counter — significantly reducing your wait time at busy urban offices.

Appointments book up quickly for popular slots (mornings, Saturdays). Check availability several days in advance. Cancelled appointments can be rebooked up to 24 hours before the slot.

Step 3

Visit the Office With Your Documents

Arrive 10–15 minutes before your appointment time. At the entrance, confirm your appointment reference number with security. Show your existing CNIC (or the documents for a fresh application) and go to the designated appointment counter.

NADRA offices are generally open Monday–Saturday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (timings vary by location — confirm at nadra.gov.pk). Sahulat Centres may have different hours. Friday afternoon closures apply at some locations for Juma prayers.

Step 4

Services Available Without an Appointment

For simple enquiries — checking status, collecting a ready CNIC, getting a tracking update — you don't need an appointment. Walk in during office hours and go to the enquiry counter. The wait for collection and status checks is generally much shorter than for full applications.

NADRA's helpline 051-111-786-100 handles many queries by phone — status checks, tracking ID retrieval, and general guidance on required documents. Call before making a trip if you're unsure whether your documents are complete.

Common NADRA Application Problems

Online appointment slot not available for weeks

Try Sahulat Centres — they usually have shorter queues and faster availability than main Facilitation Centres for renewals. Also try early morning slots on weekdays which fill more slowly than weekend slots.

Arrived at wrong NADRA office type for my service

Not all services are available at all centre types. Sahulat Centres don't handle NICOP or some family registration services. Confirm your service is offered at your chosen office before visiting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Facilitation Centres are full-service NADRA offices offering all services. Sahulat Centres are smaller, faster outlets handling common services like CNIC renewals. Facilitation Centres handle complex cases, NICOP, family registration certificates, and fresh applications.

Typically 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. Some Sahulat Centres have extended hours or operate on Sundays. Confirm specific hours at nadra.gov.pk as they vary by location and may change on public holidays.
