BISP Kafalat payments are collected biometrically at designated Easypaisa agents — beneficiaries whose payment channel is Easypaisa must physically attend with their CNIC and provide a fingerprint scan; the cash is disbursed immediately on match.

4 Steps to Collect Your BISP Payment via Easypaisa

Confirm Easypaisa is your payment channel at 8171.bisp.gov.pk, visit any Easypaisa agent with your original CNIC, present thumbprint for biometric verification, and collect the cash — no Easypaisa account needed.

Step 1

Confirm Your Payment Channel Is Easypaisa

Check your payment channel at 8171.bisp.gov.pk or by sending your CNIC to 8171. The result will specify either "JazzCash" or "Easypaisa" as your collection channel. If it says Easypaisa, proceed with this guide. If it says JazzCash, use our separate JazzCash collection guide.

BISP assigns payment channels by area — you can't choose which channel you use. The channel is determined at the district level based on mobile operator coverage and BISP's contractual arrangements.

Step 2

Locate the Nearest Easypaisa Agent or Telenor Franchise

You can collect your BISP Easypaisa payment at any Easypaisa agent shop, Telenor Franchise outlet, or designated BISP payment camp. In urban areas, Easypaisa agents are available in most neighbourhoods and markets. In rural areas, the tehsil town typically has several Easypaisa outlets.

To find the nearest agent: open the Easypaisa app and tap "Find Agent," or call Easypaisa customer service at 042-111-003-737. You can also ask at the nearest Telenor SIM retailer — they'll know which shops in your area process BISP payments.

Step 3

Collect Your Payment at the Easypaisa Agent

When you arrive at the Easypaisa agent, tell them you're there to collect a BISP Kafalat payment. Present your original CNIC. The agent enters your CNIC number into the Easypaisa BISP payment system.

In many areas, BISP uses biometric verification — the agent will ask you to press your right thumb on a fingerprint scanner. This matches against NADRA's biometric database linked to your CNIC. The system then shows your pending payment amount and releases it to the agent for cash disbursement.

You don't need a registered Easypaisa account to collect BISP payments — the biometric or CNIC-based collection process works independently of having a mobile wallet. Collect the full cash amount and ask for a payment receipt.

Step 4

Handle Issues During Collection

If the agent says "no payment found" for your CNIC:

  • Verify your eligibility status at 8171.bisp.gov.pk — if it shows "Uncollected," the system may have a lag. Try at a different agent.
  • Confirm the payment hasn't already been collected — sometimes a family member may have collected it without telling you.
  • Check whether the payment has expired (uncollected for over 90 days) — call 0800-26477 for a status check.

If the biometric fingerprint fails to verify: try the other thumb. Worn fingerprints (common in manual labourers and elderly beneficiaries) cause biometric failures. The agent should have an alternative CNIC-based collection method — insist on this if biometric consistently fails. BISP is aware of this issue and has provisions for beneficiaries whose biometric data doesn't match cleanly.

Registration and Payment Problems

Biometric fingerprint keeps failing

Try pressing firmly and flat — not on the tip. Try all fingers, not just the thumb. If consistently failing, request CNIC-based alternative collection from the agent. BISP has a manual override process for biometric failures.

Agent charging a fee to process BISP payment

BISP payments are completely free to collect. Any agent charging a fee is committing fraud. Report them to BISP helpline at 0800-26477 with the agent shop name and location.

Payment available on portal but agent device shows 'server down'

The payment terminal connectivity can fail. Try a different Easypaisa agent rather than waiting. If multiple agents show the same error, wait until the next business day — the server issue is on BISP/Easypaisa's end.

Frequently Asked Questions

No — BISP payments through Easypaisa use a cash-over-the-counter model with biometric or CNIC verification. You don't need a registered Easypaisa mobile wallet. Simply present your CNIC at the agent.

Officially, BISP payments are linked to the registered beneficiary's CNIC and biometric. In practice, BISP has provisions for proxy collection for genuinely incapacitated beneficiaries — contact the BISP district office with documentation. Unauthorized proxy collection isn't supposed to happen.

BISP payments are typically valid for 90 days from the disbursement date. After 90 days, uncollected amounts may be reversed. Check your payment date on the portal and collect well before the expiry to avoid losing the payment.
